Angels of Death

a Japanese horror adventure game by Hoshikuzu KRNKRN (Makoto Sanada) for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch. It was created using RPG Maker and was originally released as freeware via the Den Fami Nico Game Magazine website on August 14, 2015.[7] It launched on Steam in Japanese, Chinese, Korean and English on December 19, 2016. A prequel titled Angels of Death Episode.Eddie (殺戮の天使 Episode.Eddie Satsuriku no Tenshi Episode.Eddie) is released as part of bonuses included in limited edition Blu-ray and DVD Box Set of the anime's first volume.

13-year-old Rachel "Ray" Gardner is taken to a hospital for counselling after witnessing a murder. However, she wakes up to find herself on basement Floor B7 instead with no memories apart from her name and the reason she came to the hospital. A series of mysterious broadcasts and scribbled messages on the wall set the scene as a game where each participant is designated a floor of their own, and anyone who trespasses on another participant's floor has the chance to be killed.

The player controls Rachel Gardner around her way inside the building to find her way into the different floors in hopes of finding a way out and hopefully find her parents. Too escape each floor you have to find the elevator to the next floor. Each floor has a boss which you will have to face to leave the floor. The floors have different riddles and puzzles you need to solve to advance to the next one. It also includes chase sequences and various challenges which have time limits and if you fail you have to start over, however, it requires you o save before the challenge starts. The game is mostly story-driven so you don't have to worry about chasers and saving frequently.

Characters

Rachel01.jpg

rachel gardner

also known as Ray, is the protagonist of the game, manga, and anime Satsuriku no Tenshi. She is the first playable character of the game who is a young girl that awakes in a building with initially no recollection of why she is there. Ray is originally presented as extremely calm and collected, though this likely stems from her desire to die. The other floor masters say that she is ruthless, selfish, and manipulative, and willing to do anything to get what she wants. However, it is a misnomer to consider her an evil or malicious person, as she does not inherently understand human morality and does not have actual cruel impulses.

Zack01.jpg

isaac foster

Commonly known as Zack is the deuteragonist of the game, manga, and anime, Satsuriku no Tenshi. He first appears as an enemy of the B6 floor when meeting Rachel Gardner, and then becomes an ally over the course of the game.

He is a serial killer who is currently on the run due to his connections with recent murder cases.

Eddie01.jpg

EDWARD MASON

Eddie is one of the antagonists of Satsuriku no Tenshi. He first appears on floor B4. He developed a crush on Rachel Gardner at first sight and became obsessed with burying her in one of his graves.

Danny01.jpg

DANIEL DICKENS

Danny is one of the antagonists in the game, Satsuriku no Tenshi. He first appears on floor B5. He was Rachel Gardner's counseling doctor. He is obsessed with Ray's eyes, particularly the lifelessness they display.

Cathy01.jpg

CATHERINE WARD

Cathy is mainly characterized by her interest in sinners (as she calls Zack and Ray "my lovely sinners"), and how she wants to punish them. She calls herself "The Condemner" as a reference to how she takes care of her sinners. Sadistic, she sets up complicated deadly games on her floor and enjoys watching people getting crushed by them; or succeeding, making them even more interesting subjects to her. She's also rather extroverted and eccentric, and very expressive. At one point, she was called a sadist-masochist by Zack

Gray01.jpg

ABRAHAM GRAY

one of the characters in Satsuriku no Tenshi. He serves as the master of Floor B2. He is a temporary antagonist in episode 3 when he accuses Ray of being a witch, but later becomes an ally at the end of Episode 3 and rest of Episode 4. Gray is an extremely eloquent and serious man, able to mesmerize his listeners through words, and harbors a cold and logical heart without mercy. Despite his position as a reverend, Gray himself doesn't believe in the existence of God, simply taking the role because he is intrigued by religious faith in people. He seems to have a thirst for knowledge, going to any length to acquire the knowledge he seeks even if it means sacrificing people's lives.
